Bath Stairlifts
If you live in one of the beautiful historic buildings in the city of Bath – many of which have quirky staircases and are listed properties – you may think it isn’t possible to have a stairlift, even if you need help negotiating the stairs.
Stairlifts in Bath, though, are a possibility in nearly every home. We should know, because here at Suttons Stairlifts we’ve been installing stairlifts in Bath and the surrounding Somerset area for many years. In most cases you can have your own stairlift, or a rental stairlift, fitted in Bath whether you have a straight or curved staircase.
Our stairlifts are fitted to the stair treads so no damage is caused to the walls or main fabric of the house. We’ll be able to help you regain your independence and effortlessly reach the upper floors of your home in Bath with a stairlift, so you can glide up and down the stairs in style and safety.
Our friendly, efficient team of experienced stairlift engineers work across the Bath BA2 postcode area, in the city itself, and surrounding Somerset and Wiltshire areas like Batheaston, Bathampton, Lansdown, Combe Down and Widcombe. We also fit stairlifts in the nearby BA2 villages of Farmborough, Timsbury, Peasedown St John, Wellow, Hinton Charterhouse, Norton St Philip, Freshford and Limpley Stoke.
Stairlifts to Buy or Rent in Bath
Having researched the market thoroughly we at Suttons have settled on working with the top quality Handicare range of stairlifts in Bath. Not only do they offer an excellent range of feature-rich models for both straight and curved staircases, but they are easy to operate and come with plenty of optional extras – including power upgrades, dual seat positions and an illuminated footplate on some models.
If you want to have a stairlift installed in Bath we’ll assess your needs, survey and measure your staircase, and advise you on the best Handicare stairlift to suit. If you prefer you can rent a stairlift in Bath (straight staircases only) long or short term, from as little as £55 per month.
We also sell stairlifts in Bath, and take care of your stairlift’s maintenance, servicing and repairs, and in many cases provide a “buy back” service if you decide you no longer need a stairlift.
Bath Stairlifts with Comprehensive Warranty
As an independent, local company we pride ourselves in offering an affordable, dependable and honest service for people in Bath who have need of a stairlift.
Founder Mark Sutton started the business after being dissatisfied with the way his father was treated by a large national company. Mark’s philosophy was not to pressure sell, but to be there with trustworthy advice and prompt, professional and friendly customer service for those who needed a stairlift in Bath.
On Mark’s retirement in 2022 he passed the reins of the company to his Chief Engineer, Max Spenn, who has continued to build the business. With Max in the driving seat the business is scaling new heights, never losing sight of its ethos of honesty, reliability and integrity.
All new stairlift installations in Bath come with a comprehensive two-year parts and labour warranty – and refurbished stairlifts with a warranty for one year.
