Even if your staircase includes an awkward bend or two there’s no need to sacrifice the comfort and convenience of having a stairlift to help you safely reach the upper floors of your home. A stairlift can be of inestimable value to improve your life.
Although curved stairlifts are more expensive than straight lifts due to being bespoke to fit your stairs exactly, we can still offer affordable, neat, compact stairlifts on any shape of staircase. A customised rail means the lift can be accommodated easily, while still leaving enough room for others in your home to walk up and down the stairs without obstruction.
With headquarters in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, Suttons Stairlifts supplies, installs, repairs, services, maintains and removes curved stairlifts across Bath, Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset. We also serve Devon, down to Plymouth and the Devon south coast.
Since the company’s inception in 2013 we have earned a reputation for providing an affordable, dependable and honest service that we are proud of.
Our qualified engineers are friendly and helpful, committed to identifying our customers’ needs and providing honest advice.
Our many satisfied customers often recommend us to friends and family, and consistently leave us five-star reviews.
We offer a free, no-obligation quotation when we visit to survey and measure your staircase, and discuss your needs and preferences. We will leave you with brochures and all the information you need so you can take time to consider your options.
Our customers’ needs come first, so we never use “hard sell” tactics or pressurise you to buy or rent a stairlift.
Mindful of quality, reliability, safety and style we’ve chosen to offer the Handicare range of stairlifts for curved staircases as the best choice for our customers.
This is a company which has been designing and producing stairlifts since 1886, and since early on have specialised in making innovative single rail curved stairlifts.
We offer a variety of Handicare stairlift models designed for curved staircases, available to purchase with a comprehensive two-year parts and labour warranty.
To find out which of these would be best suited to your home and needs, read the overviews below, download the brochure for more detailed specifications, and/or contact us to arrange a free consultation, during which we can measure your staircase, answer all your questions and give you a quotation.
We professionally install new stairlifts and our experts are always available for advice and maintenance for as long as you need your stairlift.
The Handicare Freecurve range of stairlifts includes the Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Vermeer models – all as elegant as their artistic names imply.
The Rembrandt is ideal for fitting to the inside (bannister side) of the staircase; the Van Gogh has a single tubular track less than 8cm in diameter; the Vermeer is great for multi-storey properties and apartment block stairwells. There’s a Handicare stairlift solution for every type of staircase.
These stairlifts come with a variety of features, but all are compact and foldable, operated by remote control from both downstairs or upstairs as well as by using the arm toggle, have swivel seats, and a choice of rail colours, upholstery and seat styles.
This remarkable stairlift has a twin rail system which is customised to perfectly fit your stairs. This type of rail design means we can accommodate even a narrow spiral staircase.
It comes with a range of automatic options, including a folding hinge to avoid obstructing doorways, and a powered swivel and footrest.
The rail colour can be customised to suit the décor of your home, and the seat comes in three attractive style options in a range of colours.
The weight limit of 18st can also be increased to 21 ½ stone with an additional heavy duty kit.
Like all Handicare stairlifts, this state-of-the-art model prioritises safety features and high-end engineering.
Whether you opt for a new or refurbished stairlift for your curved staircase, you’ll get a parts and labour warranty (two years for a new lift, one year on a refurbished unit).
Once we’ve installed your stairlift we are available for maintenance, repairs and regular servicing, so your stairlift will serve you faultlessly for many years. When you no longer want your stairlift we can remove your redundant stairlift neatly and cleanly for recycling.
All our new installations come with a comprehensive 2 year, parts and labour warranty. Our refurbished units are offered with a 1 year, parts and labour warranty.
We even offer a buy back option should they become redundant to your needs. Prices for our reconditioned straight stairlifts start from £1,345, new stairlifts from £1,745 and rental from £55 per month.
We pride ourselves on a “no-pressure”, professional service. Contact us today for more information and to arrange a FREE no obligation quote!
