Suppliers & Installers of Stairlifts in Devon
If you’re lucky enough to live in delightful Devon and are in need of a stairlift to help you enjoy independence in your home, Suttons Stairlifts will be happy to help.
We are leading suppliers, installers and maintainers of stairlifts in Devon, from the pretty coastal towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham and the port of Plymouth, across the countryside to Bideford, Exmoor and Honiton in the north of the county.
Our experienced team of stairlift engineers in Devon cover all the EX, PL and TQ postcode areas, and we are especially busy in South Hams where our stairlifts have given a new lease on life to many retirees who live there and find it difficult to access the upper storeys of their homes or apartments.
Stairlifts are not a luxury for those with mobility problems in Devon, but rather a life-changing and life-enhancing necessity.
When Peter Sutton started our stairlift business he pledged to provide not only a professional service, but also one that was affordable, dependable and trustworthy. On Mark’s retirement in 2022 he passed the reins of the company to his Chief Engineer, Max Spenn, who has continued to build the business. With Max in the driving seat the business is scaling new heights, never losing sight of its ethos of honesty, reliability and integrity.

Devon Stairlifts for Curved or Straight staircases
After careful consideration of all the different makes and models of stairlifts available in Devon, we have settled on recommending the Handicare range, and are now approved Devon suppliers and installers of this reliable stairlift brand.
The Handicare stairlifts are easy to operate and offer a wide range of standard and add-on features, providing models to fit straight or curved staircases which can be installed on the stair treads without impacting on the structure of the wall or stairs themselves.
We have lifts that range from a simple model for straight stairs with a manual swivel seat and footrest, safety sensors and seatbelt up to the elegant Freecurve model which has extras like dual seat positions for narrow staircases and a very easy to use seat that is easy to access.
